We recently visited Osaka for Golden Week and stayed at a business hotel, UNIZO INN. Here are my thoughts on the hotel.
Location
It’s an amazing place to stay. It’s located right next to Shin-Osaka Station, so you can get around the city with zero hassle. And the best part is that it’s super close to all the coolest spots like Osaka Castle, Kyoto, and Kobe. Plus, Shin-Osaka is where the Shinkansen hub is, so if you’re planning to hop on a train to Tokyo or Kyushu, you’re in the perfect spot. Honestly, if you’re looking for a spot to make your base for your Osaka adventures, UNIZO INN is where it’s at!
Room
I must say, our room was really pleasant and cozy. Despite it being Golden Week, we were surprised to find that the price was quite affordable. As you may know, most business hotels in Japan tend to be on the narrow side, but this one was surprisingly spacious! We loved that it didn’t feel cramped like other compact rooms.
Facilities/ Amenities
I didn’t get to check out everything in the hotel, but I did notice a few things. There’s a water dispenser right outside the room, and you can find ironing stuff for clothes out there too. Oh, and in the lobby, you can grab some toiletries for free, common in Japanese hotels. The room itself has a mini fridge, a safe, a kettle, and all the cutlery you need. Plus, there are bathrobes, shoe polish, slippers, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.
Value for Money
In terms of value for money, UNIZO INN is good. Its cleanliness and simplicity are in line with the room rates.
Conclusion
I had such a pleasant time staying at UNIZO INN Shin-Osaka. The staff was so nice, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was super convenient.
