BEST WESTERN PLUS TENJIN FUKUOKA HOTEL REVIEW

I’ve been crafting hotel reviews, and the one I’d like to share today is about our stay at Best Western Plus Hotel in Tenjin, Fukuoka last December. I’ve diligently noted down various details to provide you with valuable insights that could aid your decision-making process when choosing a hotel. I hope my review proves helpful in guiding your future accommodation choices.

LOCATION

Best Western Plus is a midscale hotel conveniently located – only a 5-minute stroll from Tenjin-minami Station (Nanakuma Line) and just 8 minutes on foot from Tenjin Station (Kuko Line). Additionally, Tenjin Station offers a convenient connection to Fukuoka Airport.

Situated in the bustling heart of Tenjin, Fukuoka, the hotel provides easy access to Hakata as well. While I may not be a geography expert, from my own experience, it feels like the hotel is conveniently positioned between these two districts. You’ll find that restaurants, tourist attractions, shopping malls, bars, and parks are all within walking distance, making it a convenient hub for exploration and enjoyment.

THE ROOM

The room stands out from typical Japanese business hotels, providing ample space to move around without bumping into tables or obstructing luggage. It boasts a dedicated desk for work, and for female guests, a shared space with a vanity corner. The generously sized bed ensures comfort, and I must highlight the delightful design that personally captivated me.

The room is well-equipped with comprehensive amenities, including toiletries ranging from toothbrush to shampoo, a kettle, utensils, a mini-fridge, and cozy robes for added comfort.

FACILITIES

The hotel provides a convenient laundromat for guests’ use. Additionally, I read they have an exercise facility complimentary for 24 hours. And of course, a vending machine located on the ground floor inside the hotel.

RATING

8/10

Our overall stay was enjoyable, but the only drawback was the noticeable noise. It seems the walls lack thickness, making sounds from adjacent rooms quite audible. Additionally, the cleaning process was distinctly loud. However, if you spend most of your day outside, this might not pose a significant issue.
